Modicon TM3 / Distributed I/O
TM3 modules extend a controller with digital, analog, temperature and safety I/O, either directly beside the CPU or as a remote drop connected over the network. Distributing the I/O shortens field wiring, reduces cabinet size and makes commissioning and fault-finding faster on installations spread over a site.
