WEG CFW500
The CFW500 is the general-purpose workhorse of the WEG range. Its plug-and-play architecture lets communication, I/O and safety functions be added as modules, and it covers scalar, sensorless vector and closed-loop vector control across the whole industrial power range.
Key characteristics
- Power range 0.18–160 kW (0.25–215 HP)
- Supply 200–240 V, 380–480 V and 500–600 V
- Scalar (V/f), VVW, sensorless vector and encoder vector control
- Built-in DC braking chopper on the larger frames
- Safe Torque Off (STO) and SS1 safety functions available
- Plug-and-play modules: Modbus RTU, Profibus DP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, CANopen, BACnet, extra I/O
